Paintless repair
Every dent is worked out from behind the panel by hand. No fillers, no sanding, no repaint, no trace.
Back to new
Hail claims usually take 3 to 5 days once your insurer approves the repair. Small jobs are often same-day.
Why paintless is the right fix for hail
Hail leaves dozens, sometimes hundreds, of shallow round dents with the paint still intact. That is exactly the damage paintless dent repair was built for. A conventional body shop sands the panel, fills it, and repaints it, or replaces the panel outright. We put the metal back where it was and leave the factory finish alone.
Factory paint stays
Your car keeps the paint it left the factory with. No color match to get wrong, no overspray, no edge to show later.
Resale protected
A hail car repaired by PDR has original paint on every panel, which is what a buyer or an appraiser checks first.
Days, not weeks
No paint booth and no cure time. Most approved hail repairs are finished in 3 to 5 days.

Hail in Parker and the south Denver metro
Colorado sits in what meteorologists call Hail Alley, and the Front Range carries the costliest hail risk in the country. The May 8, 2017 Denver-metro storm remains the most expensive in state history at about $2.3 billion in insured losses, with roughly 167,000 auto claims, according to Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association figures. Hail season on the Front Range runs roughly mid-April through mid-September, with June and July the busiest months.
Parker, Castle Rock and Elizabeth sit along the Palmer Divide, the ridge between Denver and Colorado Springs that lifts afternoon storms as they move east. That is why the south metro sees so many hail events, and why every dent shop in the area fills up in the week after a big storm.
Photograph it first
Shoot the roof, hood and trunk in daylight before you wash the car. Hail is hardest to see on a clean, dark panel.
File promptly
Most policies set time limits on claims. File through your insurer or let us file for you, then book your estimate early.
Skip the storm chasers
The Colorado Division of Insurance warns about out-of-state outfits that collect deposits after a storm and vanish. Use an established local shop with reviews you can read.
In their words

“Chris and his staff are the best at this line of work. They assisted Jessica with her hail damage and found time to help me as well. Chris provides the best affordable rates and gets work done faster than anyone else. He goes above and beyond by providing exceptional work and service.”
“I had about $7k in hail damage that was fixed quickly, my car looks brand new! I was kept informed every step of the way. I had a much better experience with Hail Spa than when I had a similar fix 5 years ago at another shop.”
“Chris is the only guy I trust to repair our vehicles. We take all of our personal and shop vehicles to him. He always gets us in and work completed in a timely manner. His work is phenomenal and professional. Highly recommend using Chris at The Hail Spa for any dent/hail damage repair needs!”
What to bring to the estimate
Three to five clear photos of the damage, your insurer's name, and your claim number if you have already filed. If you have not filed, we will walk you through it. That is all we need to start.
Questions we hear every week
Can paintless dent repair fix all hail damage?
Most of it, yes. Hail leaves rounded dents with the paint intact, which is exactly what PDR is designed for. Dents with cracked paint, stretched metal, or damage right on a panel edge may need a different repair, and we tell you that at the estimate rather than after.
How long does hail repair take?
Hail claims usually take 3 to 5 days once your insurer approves the repair. Small jobs are often finished the same day. After a major storm, booking early matters because every shop in the metro fills up at once.
Do I have to use my insurer's preferred shop?
No. Colorado law (C.R.S. 10-4-120) gives you the right to choose your own repair shop. Your insurer can recommend a shop and guarantee that shop's work, but it cannot require you to use one or treat your claim differently because you chose The Hail Spa.
What does deductible assistance mean?
Depending on your claim, we can help with your deductible, up to $1,000. *Up to $1,000. Inquire for details or ask us how.
Will a hail claim raise my rates?
Hail is a comprehensive claim, not an at-fault collision claim, and insurers treat the two differently. Only your insurer can say how a claim affects your specific policy, so ask before you decide.
What if the adjuster's estimate is lower than the real damage?
The Division of Insurance notes that the first estimate is not always the final one, because more damage often shows up once work begins. When that happens we document it and submit a supplement to your insurer for approval before continuing. We handle that paperwork.
